October’s LIFE news reviews European Mobility Week and reports on the variety of LIFE projects that have been making beneficial contributions to the goals of this increasingly popular EU initiative. These include a successful series of LIFE Environment interventions implementing mobility management systems in Spanish industrial estates and a LIFE TCY project targeting air pollution hot-spots caused by Kaliningrad traffic problems. Also featured in this month’s LIFE News is a programme of LIFE Nature measures from the Canary Island’s aiming to improve the conservation status of endangered vultures.
