The Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Environment and Water Management has invited representatives of the European Commission, the Member States and potential applicants to an exchange of information about LIFE+.
The event will include presentations giving the view of the European Commission, a Member States and an applicant. The speakers are Margareta Stubenrauch (Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Environment and Water Management), Philip Owen (Head of LIFE Unit, DG Environment), Günter Lanz (Hessonian Ministry for Environment) as well as Klaus Michor and Stephan Senfter (REVITAL Ziviltechniker GmbH).
The Healthy Habitats Exhibition will be on show at ENFO - Ireland's public information service on environmental matters - until Saturday August 23. The exhibition includes presentations on LIFE Nature projects such as Restoring raised bogs in Ireland (LIFE04 NAT/IE/000121) and Restoring Priority Woodland Habitats in Ireland (LIFE05 NAT/IRL/000182), as well as information about forestry company Coillte's wider biodiversity programme and its outdoor recreation facilities. Additional lunchtime lectures will take place every Wednesday at 13.15h, at ENFO, 17 St Andrew Street, Dublin 2.
