The Forest Focus Team foresees a Conference on the C-Studies in October-November

The Forest Focus Team intends to organise a Conference during the last three months of 2007 on the C-Studies financed under the Forest Focus Programmes 2003-2004.

The main ideas underlying the C-Studies Conference is to highlight the outcome of the studies co-financed under the Forest Focus programmes, especially those issues related to monitoring of biodiversity in forests and climate change effects on forests and that may serve as a basis for the drafting proposals for future forest monitoring and biodiversity.

All participants in a C-Study under the Forest Focus Scheme will have the opportunity to present a poster with its results. However, since the Conference is only planned as a one-day event, not all of the studies will have a chance to get presented.

Selected speakers will be contacted at a later stage by the Forest Focus Team.
