Do you know what it takes to be a European Green Capital? Are you a budding film maker? Would you like an opportunity to visit the 2012 European Green Capital, Vitoria-Gasteiz? If you are then this competition is for YOU!

We are calling all aspiring film makers to produce a five-minute video on the theme “What makes a city a European Green Capital?”*. Get your creative juices flowing and display what you think a European green city is by focusing on at least one of the 12 criteria for the European Green Capital Award. We want to see fresh, imaginative and unique works that will really engage and inspire an audience.
Bring sustainability to life and be in with a chance to win a trip for 2 people and 2 nights stay in the capital of the Basque Country in northern Spain, Vitoria-Gasteiz – this year’s European Green Capital (see Terms and Conditions).

Vitoria-Gasteiz is one of Europe’s cities with the largest proportion of green areas per inhabitant. An active, dynamic and vibrant modern city, it prides itself on its parks and green areas.
Whether it is the city’s nightlife, restaurants, walkways, shopping or green spaces: Vitoria-Gasteiz is green at its heart.
The competition is open to people who are over 18 and who live in European Union Member States, candidate countries (Croatia, FYROM, Iceland, Montenegro, Serbia and Turkey) and European Economic Area Countries.
