World Water Week 2015

SIWI (Stockholm International Water Institute) will again host World Water Week in Stockholm, the first European Green Capital, Sweden from 23rd – 28th August 2015. This is the 25th year of SIWI’s prestigious conference. Water issues are discussed by interested parties from all over the world. Last year over 3,000 people and 270 organisations took part from 143 countries.

This year’s theme is ‘Water for Development’, with a focus on the vital need to improve conditions for the one billion people who still have little or no access to clean water. The experts attending this event will discuss how best to tackle such challenges and aim to establish a new set of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). A wide array of talks and workshops will take place during the programme.

This is an excellent chance to network, share ideas and contribute towards creating solutions to today’s challenging global water problems. There are options to attend on particular days or for the full week. For more details and to register click here.
