European Green Capital Award
The European Green Capital Award has listed climate change, mitigation and adaptation as one of the twelve environmental indicators for the Award. The current European Green Capital, Copenhagen, aims to be a carbon-neutral city by 2025, which means reducing carbon emissions to a minimum and compensating for the remainder through other initiatives. Copenhagen is the first capital city in the world to make such a commitment.
