The conference will focus on the challenge of the world’s increasing population and the urgent need for effective and sustainable public transport. There is a recognised need to move away from private vehicles to developing better mobility through public transport, walking and cycling.

The aim of the event is to bring innovative people together to address transport problems for larger numbers of people in order to plan better for the future. There was a call for papers earlier in 2015 relating to research into several themes and these were reviewed up until 15th September. Accepted papers will be published and presented by the authors at the conference. Topics include:

• Mastering changes in Urban Transport
• Public Transport Challenges
• Parking Management Policy
• Smart, Clean and Safe Mobility
• Social Equity in Urban Transport
• Open and Big Data
• Demand Modelling and Simulation
• Best Practices in Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans
• Integrated Corridor Management for Urban Transport
• Funding Sustainable Urban Mobility

Expert speakers such as Michael Cramer of the European Parliament and Bernhard Ensink, Secretary General of the European Cyclists’ Federation, will give talks on various subjects. The event will be communicated through Serbian and English. For more information and to register, please visit the official conference website.
