The 12th Conference on Sustainable Development of Energy, Water and Environment Systems – SDEWES Conference is taking place in Dubrovnik, Croatia, on 4th – 8th October 2017. The SDEWES conference is a multidisciplinary event, covering a range of topics related to environmental, social and economic sustainability.

Over the course of the conference, attendees will hear from experts in various environmental areas, such as: ethics and the management of natural resources; environmental policy; climate change; renewable energy; water management; waste; building technologies; and public attitude. There will also be a tour of the Old City of Dubrovnik, as part of the social programme, followed by a conference dinner at Banje Beach, overlooking the historical city.

The conference will take place in the Hotel Valamar Lacroma Dubrovnik, located on the Babin kuk peninsula. The venue is just 6km from the old medieval town and is accessible by public transport.

Conference attendees will need to check the official website of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia to see if they are required to obtain a visa to enter Croatia.
