Sustainability Gathering 2013
12th December 2013, Dublin, Ireland
This year’s Sustainability Gathering is set to take place on the 12th December 2013 at Dublin Castle in Ireland. Last year, the Sustainability Gathering was held during the Volvo Ocean Race Event with the theme: ‘Enabling, Financing and Delivering Sustainable Growth’. It attracted over 200 businesses as well as academic, policy and political experts.
In this year’s edition, the one-day event will bring together a range of high level participants to outline the best sustainability practices of leading organisations. They will also focus on trends in sustainability investment & finance, emerging policy and enterprise drivers as enablers of a low carbon economy, and perspectives on how best to achieve this transition and in doing so create sustainable employment in Ireland.
Keynote speakers will include: John Bruton, President of the European Resource Efficiency Platform & President of IFSC Ireland; Jonathan Maxwell, Founding Partner and CEO of Sustainable Development Capital; and Owen Keegan, City Manager at Dublin City Council..
