While air quality standards have been improving across Europe, certain cities and regions still experience worrying levels of pollution from industry and traffic emissions. The aim of this conference is to address such issues by collating the best possible solutions in the field from around the UK and beyond.

Mayor of Bristol George Ferguson will deliver the keynote address. Several international experts will speak at the event on topics such as the importance of public communication and behavioural change regarding road transport and air quality.

The UK National Air Quality Awards will also be hosted at the networking dinner on the first evening of the two-day conference. These awards give recognition to those in the public, private or charity sectors who strive to improve the air quality in their area.

Fees for the event vary for members and non-members of either the Institute of Air Quality Management (IAQM) or the Institution of Environmental Sciences (IES). For more details and to register, please visit the conference website.
