REsolutions to Fund Cities
REsolutions to Fund Cities Annual Conference and European Meeting will take place on 3rd – 4th July 2014 at Hemicycle of the Île-de-France Regional Council in Paris. The meeting will focus on how European cities have adapted to the new economic situation, how they are being financed, and conditions for successful replication and transfer of new funding models.
Wolfgang Teubner, ICLEI Europe’s Managing Director, will provide the key note address discussing tools and models for financing the energy transition in Europe. Claire Charbit, Deputy Head of Public Governance and Territorial Development at the OECD and Alain Juppé, Mayor of Bordeaux (France) will also address the conference.
During the conference and meeting participants will be able to attend the following sessions;
• Taking action against crises: investing in territories
• Increase new sources of funding using traditional financial instruments
• Policies to optimise the management of public resources
• Towards a local development funded by the local economy: the gamble of European local authorities
