Over 120 million people in the EU are  affected by noise pollution at levels that are considered to have a negative effect on health. Noise from railway, aircraft and road traffic can cause sleep disturbance, leading to a range of health problems such as cardiovascular disease. The conference programme includes sessions on the European Noise Directive, the World Health Organisations findings on the health impacts of noise pollution and strategies for noise management. Find more details about the programme here.

Morning sessions will be in English, French, German, Italian and Spanish and will also be live streamed in all five languages. The afternoon session will be in English. You can watch the livestream here.
