International Cycling Conference 2017

The International Cycling Conference (ICC) will be held in Mannheim, Germany, on 19th – 21st September 2017. ICC is an interdisciplinary conference focusing on the interplay between transport, health, the environment, society and the economy.

The target audience for ICC includes those working in areas directly or indirectly related to transport, such as, researchers, practitioners, political representatives (both local and national), NGOs, planners, public health specialists, architects, and engineers.

19.04.17_ICC 2017Over the three days, participants will hear from international representatives from research and practice on the role of active mobility in today’s urban environments. You can find the programme for the conference here.

ICC is organised by the German Environment Agency (UBA), along with six partner organisations: PASTA (Physical Activity through Sustainable Transport Approaches), THE PEP (Transport, Health and Environment Pan-European Programme), the City of Mannheim, ECF (the European Cyclists Federation), Difu (the German Institute of Urban Affairs) and GIZ (Deutsche Gesellschaft für internationale Zusammenarbeit). ICC will take place in the historic setting of the Baroque Palace in Mannheim, Germany, accessible by public transport from Mannheim Central Station.
