Green Youth Day: It’s Our Future

Green Youth Day: It’s Our Future will take place on 20th April 2015 at Colston Hall in Bristol, UK, European Green Capital 2015. Green Youth Day aims to focus on young people and environmental issues. During Green Youth Day a number of topics will be discussed including; the science of climate change, protecting wildlife and the oceans, human rights, how to campaign successfully, and why questioning the establishment is essential.

Keynote speakers on the day will include:

• Laura Bates – Why Equality is Part of Being Green;
• Alice Bell – Hope and Climate Change;
• Laurens de Groot – Protecting the Oceans and Animals;
• Max Wakefield – Let’s all Look at the Energy We Use.

This event is open to all young people under the age of 25 and is organised as part of Bristol 2015 in association with Bristol Cultural Development Partnership and Bristol Festival of Ideas.
