Green Surge International Conference 2017

Green Surge is hosting an international conference on 20th – 21st September 2017 in Malmö, Sweden.

Green Surge is a collaborative project with 24 partners from over 11 different countries and is funded by the European Commission Seventh Framework Programme (FP7). It works at the city and regional level to develop Green Infrastructure planning and implementation in urban areas.

26.04.17_GreenSurgeThis year will be the project’s final conference. It will bring together researchers, planners, decision-makers and practitioners to examine nature-based solutions and sustainable urban development.

The programme includes a mix of talks, technical visits and panel discussions on a range of themes related to Green Infrastructure. There will also be an opportunity for attendees to participate to encourage constructive criticism and feedback. You can find the full programme here.

The Conference will take place in the historic Sankt Gertrud Konferens, a neighbourhood dating back to the 1500s in the heart of Malmö city.
