The Eurbanlab community now has 19 partners from the private, public and academic sectorsand is co-funded by the European Climate Knowledge and Innovation Community (Climate-KIC). During the two day event, Eurbanlab will invite guest speakers to share inspirational stories, provide opportunities for participants to share experiences and arrange a visit an urban innovation. The definitive programme will follow.

Eurbanlab’s work has strong links with the European Green Capital Award, which aims to promote and reward cities which are making efforts to improve the urban environment and move towards healthier and sustainable living areas. With more than two thirds of Europeans living in towns and cities, urban areas concentrate most of the environmental challenges facing society but also bring together commitment and innovation to resolve them. The European Green Capital Award enables cities to inspire each other and share examples of good practice.
