12th ICBEN Congress on Noise as a Public Health Congress

The International Commission on Biological Effects of Noise (ICBEN) is hosting its 12th ICBEN Congress on Noise as a Public Health Congress on 18-22 June 2017 in Zurich, Switzerland. The congress will focus on the auditory and non-auditory effects of noise and low frequency noise and vibration. It is open to anyone with an interest in noise policy and research.

Topics covered in the program include: noise-induced hearing loss; non-auditory health effects of noise; effects of noise on cognition; performance and behaviour; effects of noise on sleep, community response to noise and noise annoyance; and noise policy and economics. The congress will take place in the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) in the newly renovated NO (Naturwissenschaften Ost) Building, close to many hotels and restaurants and just a 15 minute walk from Zurich’s main railway station. You can find more information on the venue here.
