Salons Edile Pays-de-la-Loire

3rd & 4th October, Nantes, France

On the 3rd and 4th of October the European Green Capital for 2013 Nantes will host the Salons Edile Pays-de-la-Loire. The event is a an exhibition aimed at stakeholders and decision makers of public procurement (EPCI – public institution for intercity cooperation – presidents, mayors, deputy mayors, vice-presidents, councillors and community representatives, officials and employees and equivalent territorial, directors of public institutions, etc.). During the course of the event practical solutions to the challenges faced by urban areas in light of climate change and urban sprawl will be discussed.

200 exhibitors will attend to provide information on urban development, territorial offices, green spaces, energy, water and much more. Approximately 70,000 visitors are expected. In parallel with the event the 44th National Congress of territorial technicians of France will take place in the same venue.

The event will be an excellent opportunity for Nantes to share with the rest of France and Europe the qualities that make it the European Green Capital for 2013. Exhibitors will exchange vital information on how European cities can make themselves resilient in a way that will have minimum impact on the environment and that will facilitate future growth.
