Informed Cities Forum: How to create space for change? Rediscovering the power of community
6th-7th June 2013, Berlin, Germany.
Registration opens February 2013.
The 2013 Informed Cities Forum is a great opportunity for community representatives, local government and researchers to explore how to create space for change by working together to build stronger communities and more resilient societies. The two day event will take place in the Theather Aufbau Kreuzberg (TAK), in the heart of Berlin.
Participants at this free event will have the chance to exchange experience on future-oriented initiatives in fields such as participatory governance, food and mobility, energy and more. It is an opportunity to develop and refine ideas, get equipped with new tools and methods to successfully engage with your local community and improve the quality of local processes. The event encourages citizens and local governments alike to reflect on their role in making change happen.
The Informed Cities Forum presents the chance to meet inspiring people from all over Europe, building new partnerships across different sectors and states. Informed Cities is also providing everyone a chance to shape the conference by coming up with questions, suggesting initiatives, and introducing interesting working methods by writing to firstname.lastname@example.org.
