Environmental Sustainability in the Workplace

28th September, London

The average person spends a third of their day in their workplace. Throughout the day energy is consumed by lights, air conditioning and computers; waste is generated from food, paper, water packaging and inefficiencies. Many companies are realising the benefits of implementing a sustainability strategy in their buildings and have seen improvements in their waste, consumption and costs.

On the 28th of September, Talk Action is holding a comprehensive workshop titled “Environmental Sustainability in the Workplace”. This course will provide attendees with a detailed understanding of the issues surrounding environmental sustainability. Information will be exchanged through a combination of presentations, workshops, group discussions and real life case studies. The intention of the course is to equip attendees with the knowledge and confidence to make a significant change to their workplace through a meaningful action plan.

Green workplaces not only reduce their environmental impact but also portray a more positive image. Sustainable workplaces can contribute to a city’s bid to become a European Green Capital by feeding into a city’s energy performance, eco-innovation and sustainable employment, water consumption, and waste production goals.
