2013 ManagEnergy Award: Local Energy Action
8th March 2013 (submission deadline)
ManagEnergy has launched their annual award competition, inviting local and regional authorities as well as energy agencies to submit projects for the 2013 Local Energy Action Award. The initiative aims to reward outstanding energy actions at the local and regional level, acknowledging cases of good practice promotion of energy efficiency and renewable energy use. A jury of experienced practitioners covering a wide range of policy and technical areas will select the winner from the case studies submitted and the winning project will be showcased at the ManagEnergy annual conference as well as during a special ceremony in Brussels during the 2013 European Sustainable Energy Week.
The award is looking for projects that contribute to the EU 2020 energy efficiency and renewable energy sources objectives. It aims to bring visibility to projects that have the potential for high impact and replication. The most outstanding projects will also be promoted on the ManagEnergy website, included in the ManagEnergy Good Practice Brochure as well as being presented at numerous ManagEnergy events across Europe. The deadline for this great opportunity for showcasing local energy efficiency and renewable sources is the 8th March 2013.
