Well European Mobility Week (EMW) could be your opportunity to get involved or get ideas on innovative ways to improve transport in your city!

European Mobility weeks runs every year from the 16 to 22 September and it’s aim is to encourage European local authorities to introduce and promote sustainable transport measures and to invite their citizens to try out alternatives to car use.
The week culminates in a car free day, where those towns and cities set aside areas for pedestrian/cycling or public transport use zones for a day.
What Impact has this had?
Since its introduction in 2002, the impact of European Mobility Week has been steadily growing both across Europe and around the world. In 2011, over of 2,000 cities, representing approximately 227 million European citizens, officially registered for the campaign.
