ETAP: Catalysing local and global activities in eco innovation

The Environmental Technologies Action Plan (ETAP) was adopted by the European Commission in 2004. The objective of this ambitious plan is to further environmental technologies to improve the environment and European competitiveness.
It complements the Environment Directorate-General's regulatory approaches and directly addresses the three dimensions of the Lisbon strategy: growth, jobs and the environment.
