INEM, a non-profit organisation, is the world federation of non-profit business organisations for environmental management and cleaner production centers. The INEM network comprises more than 30 member and affiliated environmental management associations and cleaner production centres in about 30. INEM's goals are to minimize the environmental impacts of industrial operations, and to help business and industry reconcile the imperatives of development and the environment.

Association of Industrial Ecology in Slovakia (ASPEK)

ASPEK is a non-profit organisation which was founded in 1993. Its mission is to help industry to reduce its negative environmental impact by reconciling the economic interests of business and the environmental interests of society as a whole. The main activities which it co-ordinates to fulfil its mission are workshops, training and publications. Its 95 members are mainly industrial production companies and service companies. It has been a member of INEM since 1996.

ABECE

Belgian Association of Eco-counsellors (ABECE)

The Belgian Association of Eco-counsellors (ABECE), established in 1994, is a non-profit association bringing together environmental professionals working as advisers for local authorities and sectorial federations of professional and educational institutions, and helping shape regional and local environmental policies.

ABECE acts as facilitator of environmental change and experiment agent of new management models that integrate sustainability into day-to-day management of organisations, using innovative tools such as light environmental management systems, multi-criteria evaluation and interactive "river management" negotiation support systems. It is promoting a transparent participatory multistakeholder approach to any complex environmental topics leading to voluntary agreement.

ABECE has more than 100 members working for local authorities, public administrations, companies and NGOs. ABECE is delivering high skilled training and information to keep the members continuously improve their day-to-day work as eco-counsellors.

ABECE is a member of the International Network for Environmental management (INEM) and of Eco-Counselling Europe, the European network of eco-counsellors experience exchange.

Czech Environment Management Center (CEMC)

CEMC is a non-profit association of Czech businesses and business people. It was founded in 1992 with the goal of spreading knowledge about environmental management within Czech industry. CEMC's mission is to contribute to the reduction of risks to the environment posed by industrial and other activities while at the same time helping to improve the efficiency of business. It has been a member of INEM since 1994.

Danish Technological Institute (DTI)

DTI is a non-profit institution which has helped Danish industrial enterprises to improve competitiveness since 1906. Its divisions include DTI Environment and DTI Energy. Its skill base combines technological specialisation and management expertise, in areas such as human resource development, quality and productivity, environmental management and business innovation. In the area of small and medium-sized enterprise development, it is considered a centre of excellence.

Hungarian Association for Environmentally Aware Business Management

KÖVET-INEM Hungária was founded in 1995.
