|20-21 May 2015||18th European Forum on Eco-innovation: Boosting competitiveness and innovation
This forum, open to retailers and consumers will explore the role of environmental labelling, management, and information schemes. A focus will be made on how to strengthen competitiveness and innovation of SMEs during this two-day conference and will furthermore open up the opportunity for participants to meet with European Retail Forum participants. Look out for EU Ecolabel products on display at this event!

The Retail Forum is a multi-stakeholder platform set up to exchange best practices on sustainability in the European retail sector and to further enhance sustainable consumption and production. Sign up to learn more about how the Retail Forum has been working on bringing to the fore more sustainable products, better information for consumers and sustainably optimized business operations. Currently the Forum will focus on how to develop a truly functioning circular economy.
|26 May 2015||European workshop for EU Ecolabel tourist accommodations and campsites,
All EU Ecolabel tourist accommodations and campsites are invited to a workshop addressing the issue of marketing the EU Ecolabel in a competitive environment. An initiative of the Clubs of Ecolabelled tourist accommodations and campsites of the Poitou-Charentes and Aquitaine regions (France), this event will offer participants the opportunity to discuss their problems and best practices, as well as to exchange with representatives from the EU on the necessity of increasing the public's awareness on the EU Ecolabel in the tourism sector.
The workshop will take place the day before the 2nd Ad-Hoc Working Group meeting on the revision of the EU Ecolabel criteria for Tourist Accommodation and Campsite Services, in the premises of the Aquitaine regional office in Brussels.

|12 November 2015||Interregional seminar on the EU Ecolabel in the field of tourism
AFNOR is organising for the second year an interregional seminar covering the regions of Aquitaine, Limousin and Poitou-Charentes (South West of France), dedicated to the EU Ecolabel licence holders in the categories “Tourist Accomodation” and “Campsites” located in these three regions and beyond.
The programme will include an update on the revision of the EU Ecolabel criteria, an intervention from DG Environment of the European Commission, a presentation of the toolbox developed by the EU Ecolabel Helpdesk, workshops on communication, and case studies by professionals.

|13 November 2015||EMAS High Level Conference
The European Commission is holding a High-Level conference on EMAS in Frankfurt on 13th November 2015. This conference will be hosted in the brand-new sustainable building of the European Central Bank. It will celebrate 20 years of premium environmental management: learning from front runners, promoting best practices and exploiting the full potential of green growth.
The event will acknowledge the work of those who joined EMAS as front-runners in their respective countries. Environmental managers will highlight their achievements, demonstrate the benefits achieved by using the scheme and share good practice approaches to premium environmental management. At the same time, the event will serve as a forum to exchange views with EMAS practitioners and international experts on potential paths for premium environmental management in a circular economy context.
