    German car giant Daimler has secured recognition for its eco-innovative activity in the form of a European Business Award for the Environment . The award for best process innovation 2014-2015 was handed to Daimler by European Union Environment, Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Commissioner Karmenu Vella at a ceremony on 30 November.
