Objective of the consultation
	The success of a future possible Community policy for better ship dismantling depends largely on the participation of the stakeholders who are involved with ship dismantling issues and have the information and experience which must be taken into account. The European Commission is launching this process to encourage and allow stakeholders to provide their input.
