Objective of the consultation
	The discussions on the recast of the recast of the WEEE Directive have shown a need to look into potential policy options as regards photovoltaic panels. The Commission has contracted a study to analyse policy options in this respect. The objective of the consultation is to gather views on the options analysed, to gain additional information, and to give an opportunity to submit further policy options as appropriate.
