Questionnaire 2: Experts and practitioners in public authorities, business support organisations including business associations, Chambers of Commerce and other public and private agencies, consultancies, research institutes, small businesses (SMEs), trade unions, NGOs, workers’ and employers’ federations and all other relevant stakeholders involved or interested in the implementation of EU air quality legislation.

Objective of the consultation

The objective of the consultation is to gather views and additional information on the effectiveness, strength and weaknesses of EU air quality legislation, in particular as regards Directive 2008/50/EC on ambient air quality and cleaner air for Europe and Directive 2004/107/EC relating to arsenic, cadmium, mercury, nickel and polyaromatic hydrocarbons in ambient air. This consultation marks the beginning of a broad consultation on the review of EU air policy foreseen to end in 2013 at the latest. 

How to submit your contribution

We welcome contributions from citizens, organisations and public authorities. There are two questionnaire, one short questionnaire which can be completed without prior knowledge and another which requires knowledge about EU air quality legislation (mainly Directives 2008/50/EC and 2004/107/EC) and its implementation (for more details: http://ec.europa.eu/environment/air/quality/index.htm)
