Description: With 150 years experience of papermaking, Matussière & Forest has created the first-ever fully recycled coated paper, which is also bleached without chlorine. The paper does not require more energy in its production than ordinary paper and is of equally high quality.

Description: This company has become a pioneer in environmental management. Its EcoVision environmental programme has set tough green standards across all its activities, resulting in reductions of 30% in packaging materials, 35% in carbon dioxide emissions and 40% in water consumption.

Project title: Cement making
Description: Instead of modifying seven existing installations, Rugby Ltd decided to replace them with a single new cement plant, specifically designed to high environmental standards. The plant emits less than 5% of the sulphur dioxide output of a more traditional kiln using the same raw materials.
