This webinar aims at disseminating the importance of periurban parks and overall green infrastructure in guaranting a good quality of life in cities. We will hear two practical examples - from the EUROPARC network - that show how a metropolitan area (Barcelona) and a medium-size city (Vitoria-Gasteiz) are overcoming most common problems and step by step are building their green infrastructure. The role of Periurban parks as nodes from which to build the green infrastructure will be highlighted.
