As part of the 'Wanderbäume' (Wandering Trees) event, we move 15-20 wandering trees (mobile trees in large plant pots) through the city of Bottrop together with the citizens. During the event, the citizens can temporarily 'adopt' one of the trees. The wanderings trees improve the greenery of inner-city streets. The aim is to demonstrate the positive impact of trees on urban space and to raise awareness of air quality issues.
