From grey to blue - how to tackle air pollution in cities
Through concrete examples from cities with an industrial legacy, this two hour event explores the necessary measures to improve air quality in cities and how local, national and EU policies could help to achieve this objective. What can we learn from cities with an industrial legacy that have moved towards sustainability? What is the role of cities, the private sector, NGOs and policy makers in improving air quality in cities? What are the policy instruments used by the EU and the Member States?
