Ms. Evelyne Dheliat, Weather presenter – TF1

Evelyne Dheliat became a weather presenter at the French TF1 after having appeared in numerous television programs, especially about consumption. She presents all weather broadcasts from Monday to Thursday, and since 2000, she has also been the head of the weather department.

Ms Dheliat has a particular interest in climate change issues and often includes short messages on this topic in her weather broadcasts. She also recently published a book on the subject: "It is good for the planet" (in French).

In 2004, she organised a one-week training course in Dakar for weather presenters from French-speaking African countries at the request of the World Meteorological Organization.

Ms Dheliat has received several awards for her weather broadcasts at international meteorological festivals: A scientific award, an award for the best presentation and the Grand Prix.

Marina Raibaldi Ms.  Marina Raibaldi, Weather presenter - France 3 Corse - CBN-E Core Group Member

Marina Raibaldi has studied economics and later taught social science and economics. In April 1999, she began presenting the weather forecast on the French TV-channel , France 3 Corse.

She regularly raise aware among youngsters about environmental problems by inviting them for the preparation of weather forecasts or by visiting them at school.

In 2006, she organised the third International Meteorological Forum of Ajaccio with the “Société Météorologique de France".

Marina Raibaldi is also the Corsican ambassador for "Défi pour la terre" by Nicolas Hulot’s association.

 

Philippe Verdier Mr.  Philippe Verdier, weather presenter, BFM-TV

A weather presenter at the BFM-TV from 2006, Philippe Verdier has been an editor and weather presenter at la chaine météo from 1995 to 2006. He also presents weather forecasts on major French radios such as Radio France Internationale, BFM, Europe1 and RMC. He covers all significant events: European Satellite launches. UNFCCC conference. And he organises and presents round tables in mains in the Forum International de la Météo.
