The Paints Directive obliges Member States to set up a monitoring programme to verify compliance of products with the requirements of the directive and to report to the Commission the results of their monitoring programmes and information on the products licensed according to Article 3(3) of the Directive.The first report, covering the situation in 2007, had to be submitted by 30 June 2008 and are available below as well as here:
Where needed, the reports have been translated into English and those versions are available here.
The second report, covering the situation in 2010 is due by 30 June 2011. The format of the second report should follow that in Commission Decision 2010/693/EU of 22 July 2010. Member States were invited to make use of the EIONET Reportnet Central Data Repository for submitting their reports.
