To strengthen the links between science and policy, DG ENV has launched "Science for Environment Policy", a weekly news alerts service of easy to read new scientific findings in the field of top priority environment policy issues. It covers a range of topics and IPPC related issues can be found under the topic "Environmental technologies"."

The European Neighbourhood policy (ENP) is the principal vehicle for cooperation with the neighbour countries. The guide Convergence with EU IPPC Policies presents a step-by step approach for ENP partners and Russia to control emission from industrial installations.
