8. Main Content
Under Presidential Decree 44/2002 entitled "Radio equipment and telecommunications terminal equipment and mutual recognition of conformity of such equipment. Transposal into Greek law of Directive 99/5/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 9 March 1999" (Government Gazette 44/Α/7.3.2002), "…the interfaces which may be marketed and commissioned without restriction shall be determined…" by decision of the EETT (Greek Telecommunications and Post Offices Committee). Interfaces that include the main technical properties of specific categories of radio equipment constitute technical regulations and are therefore notified to the EU and the Member States, as required by Directive 99/5/EC, in accordance with Presidential Decree 39/2001 (Directive 98/34/ΕC).
