In the Hellenic Parliament

2009- : Member of Parliament of the First District of Athens with the Panhellenic Socialist Party (PASOK).
She participates in several committees of the Hellenic Parliament:

  • Standing Committee of Educational and Cultural Affairs
  • Special Standing Committee of European Affairs
  • Special Permanent Committee on Equality Youth and Human Rights
  • Committee on the Standing Orders of the Parliament
  • Intergroup Committee examining the Penitentiary System and the Living Conditions of the detained persons.

2006-2009: as a town counselor of Athens Municipality with the movement of K. Skandalides (candidate of PASOK)

2002-2006 as a town counselor of Athens Municipality (first in votes) with the movement of Ch. Papoutsis (candidate of PASOK)

2006-2009: Participated at the culture group of the Andreas Papandreou Institute of Strategic and Development Studies (ISTAME)

2004: She held the 11th honorary place at the State Constituency List of PASOK

Work Experience in Theatre/Television/Show Business

1982-2009: As an actress, she has held the leading role in plays of W. Shakespeare, T. Williams, B. Brecht, Marivaux, E. Albee, J. Cocteau, G. Osborn, J. Prisley, Sondheim-Bernstein, T. Wilder, L. Andreyev, N. Coward, P. Marber, C. Hampton et al, in various theatres, such as the National Theatre, the National Theatre of Northern Greece, as well as the grand theatre stages in Athens. She worked with all the renowned Greek directors. She has held the leading roles in plays of Euripides and Sophocles at the Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus, the Odeon of Herodes Atticus and grand theatre stages in Athens. She has played in cinema movies, TV movies and TV series. As a song performer she has collaborated with Marios Frangoulis at the Athens Concert Hall, at the ancient Small Theatre of Epidaurus and with other artistic singers in various venues.

2002-now: Theatre Director (seven plays)

1994-2009: Artistic Director of the “Iasmos” Drama School and Director of Studies at the “B. Diamandopoulos Drama School” in Thessaloniki.
