European Tourism Day - The role of European Heritage and cultural itineraries in the renewed European tourism policy, Brussels, 27 September 2010
This conference mainly covered the promotion of European citizenship and cultural and historical heritage.
In line with the 2010 EU policy paper on tourism
, which mentioned the need to promote cultural itineraries (pages 7-8), particular focus was given to "European Cultural Routes".
