Implementing Calypso : four Projects, four Target Groups
The first Calypso Workshop for 2011 was held in Vuokatti, Finland, on the 14th and 15th June 2011, in collaboration with Kainuu Region and Able Access for All Exchange (AAAE), one of the projects awarded Calypso co-financing.
This meeting was organised by the Kainuun Etu Region, Finland, in collaboration with the European Commission, and was held from the 14th-15th June 2011 in Vuokatti, Finland. It was primarily attended by Finnish and European associations, stakeholders and Member States directly or indirectly involved in social tourism issues. The Calypso Group of Experts also participated.
This event was the first Calypso meeting for 2011 and gave considerable attention to the four projects that were launched through the 2010 Call for Proposals in March 2011. Workshop results – focused on four questions for each of the four workshop groups (one per project) - are available accordingly.
The meeting was held back-to-back with IMMODI, an Interreg IVC project dealing with e-health and e-government services. A discussion on how to aim for synergies between different co-financed projects also followed since a joint session was organised on the 15th June (afternoon).
