Legal barriers to e-business - consultation
Your experience as an enterprise doing e-business interests the European Commission. Our objectives are to collect feedback and practical experiences from the market, as well as to identify existing practical barriers or new legal problems encountered while conducting business electronically.
This consultation was a follow-up to the eEurope 2005 Action Plan and the conclusions of the European Council of 20/21 March 2003, stressing the need for exchanging experience in the field of e-business.
Contributions to the on-line consultation, which closed on 17th November 2003, were received from business associations, Chambers of Commerce and other organisations across Europe, providing the Commission with their views about existing legal problems in e-business.
