Enlargement and the footwear industry
From the Candidate Countries, Turkey is among the top 10 EU-27 footwear suppliers (30 million pairs exported to EU-27 in 2007). Turkey and Croatia are also among the 10 main markets for EU footwear.
As far as potential candidate countries are concerned, Bosnia and Herzegovina is among the 10 top suppliers of footwear to the EU.
