The program of the Conference has been prepared by the Commission services, the Veneto region authorities and industry representatives and
was arranged around the following main topics:
• Setting-up the scene by presenting the profile and competitiveness of the EU and the Agro Food industry in Italy with a large focus on the Veneto region
completed by the state of play of the EU initiatives; and
• An introduction to Innovation in the Agro-Food supply chain illustrated by a case study in the dairy sector, namely the Lattebusche company.
