Situated close to Padova and Vicenza, the Villa Contarini is the largest villa in the Veneto region. Together with the town of Piazzola it forms a rich architectural site characterized by porticos, irrigation ditches and fish ponds, large courtyards and eighteenth century workhouses.

For thirty years the rooms and grounds of Villa Contarini have provided a unique location enriched with natural beauty for cultural activities and entertainment and is a perfect setting for business conferences, private parties and musical and television events. On 11 and 12 February 2010 it will host the 7th European Agro-Food Conference organized by the European Commission in collaboration with the Veneto Region.

Accommodation

Participants are responsible for booking their own hotel accommodation. However, we can recommend the official conference hotel where we have negotiated a special rate for the conference.
