Electromagnetic Fields (EMF)

Electromagnetic Fields (EMF) have been the source of a wide-ranging discussion, in particular with respect to concerns raised over possible health issues.

Proposal for the mandate submitted to CEN, CENELEC and ETSI concerning EMF. CENELEC/BT has accepted the mandate (in principle) in December 2000. A formal acceptance from CEN, CENELEC and ETSI has been received in March 2001. The mandate has been renumbered from M/32 rev. 1 to M/305.
