Refrigerating and freezing equipment

The following products are included in the scope of the present work on non-household refrigeration products (ENTR Lot 1):

1. Non household storage cabinets;
2. Blast cabinets;
3. Walk-in cold rooms;
4. Refrigeration process chillers;
5. Condensing units.

 

An Ecodesign preparatory study, analysing whether and which ecodesign requirements should be set for these non-household refrigerating equipments (ENTR Lot 1), has been launched beginning of 2009 and finalised in May 2011.

A consultation is now ongoing until 10 May 2012to support the Impact Assessment process. The selected contractor for the Impact Assessment Study is AEA Technology Ltd, United Kingdom (contact person by AEA is Mr Evan Williams, Evan.Williams@aeat.co.uk). The project leader is Mr Jeremy Tait (jeremy@taitconsulting.co.uk).
