Cooking Equipment

Food preparing equipment includes commercial as well as domestic equipment. Under this large product category, 3 Ecodesign preparatory studies have been launched in June 2009:

  • TREN Lot 22 on domestic and commercial ovens (electric, gas, microwave), including when incorporated in cookers.
  • TREN Lot 23 on domestic and commercial hobs and grills, including when incorporated in cookers.
  • TREN Lot 25 on non-tertiary coffee machines.

The selected contractor is BIO Intelligence Service, France (Contact person: S. MUDGAL, shailendra.mudgal@biois.com).

Stakeholders are encouraged to contact the contractor on their own initiative, should they consider it useful.
