Call for Tender n° ENTR/29/PP/2010/FC, Multiple Framework Service Contract, Industrial Competitiveness for a Sustainable Future, has been published in the OJ 2010/S 133-203558 of July 13, 2010

This multiple framework service contract with reopening of competition has a total duration of 4 years, and aims at providing the Commission at short notice with information, consultancy, technical assistance and research services on the interactions between the competitiveness of enterprises or industry sectors and environment, climate change, energy and transport, eco-innovation, ecodesign and sustainable product policies, in the EU and third countries.

It comprises 3 lots, including:

• Lot 2: Sustainable product policy, ecodesign and beyond

The submission deadline was September 20, 2010.

Call for Tender on Amending the Ecodesign Working Plan n° 2/PP/ENT/IMA/10/111032 has been published in the OJ S66 of April 3, 2010

This study will investigate which remaining energy-using products and new energy related products should be included in the Second Ecodesign Working Plan. It will take into account the extension of the scope of the Ecodesign Directive to energy related products.

• Lot 1: Refrigerating and freezing equipment: service cabinets, walk-in cold rooms, chillers, ice makers, ice cream and milk-shake machines, minibars
• Lot 2: Transformers: distribution transformers, power transformers
• Lot 3: Sound and imaging equipment: DVD/video players and recorders, video projectors, video game consoles
