GMES Marine Core Service
The GMES Marine Core Service (MCS), which is expected to become operational under the new MyOcean Seventh Framework Programme research project, builds upon the foundations established through existing Sixth Framework Programme (FP6) initiatives, in particular the project MERSEA (Marine Environment and Security for the European Area).
