Space on Earth

Space activities and applications are vital to our society's growth and development and have a direct impact on citizens' daily lives (e.g. environment, combating climate change, public and civil security, humanitarian and development aid, transport and the information society). The economy is also increasingly dependent on space, as space generates new knowledge, new products and new forms of industrial cooperation. Space is therefore a driving force for innovation and contributes to competitiveness, growth and job creation.

Space is clearly an indispensable tool for the future of Europe, and the European Union is taking action!
